Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid
Porsche is set for the 24 hours of Nürburgring with its upgraded 911 GT3 R Hybrid.
Dubbed “Version 2.0″ the revised model features a 464 horsepower 4.0-liter flat-six engine, along with two electric motors that produce a combined output of 201 hp - 40 hp more than the previous hybrid.
The engine powers the rear wheels, while the electric motors turn the front axle. Thanks to this setup, the car can unleash a 197 hp boost, which should prove extremely useful when overtaking an opponent.
On the styling front, the new GT3 R Hybrid is distinguished by an aerodynamically optimized design which reduces drag and fuel consumption. Furthermore, the model weighs 2866 lbs, 110 lbs less than the previous model.
