That’s right, the Porsche Design Group has released an official RFF135 catamaran. Singapore-based Royal Falcon Fleet will bring us the RFF135, meant to be a “spacecraft on the water.” She measures 135 feet long and features sleek styling with room for 20. RFF135 is powered two massive MTU engines that produce 4600 horse power, which allows the catamaran a top speed of 35 knots (or 40 mph).
According to Roland Heiler, executive director of the PDG: “The sole requirement from Royal Falcon Fleet was to implement contours outside of the stereotypical boat aesthetic. This gave us considerable creative latitude and the result was a revolutionary design – a real challenge for the ship architects.” RFF135 should launch fourth quarter of 2010. more photos: WCF
